Justin and I grew up together in a small town. We’ve seen each others ups and downs, and now I am so excited to see him grow as a musician. Justin is an Indy-Folk singer/songwriter. Recently gaining sponsors and a west coast tour, his music is going places.

Last week I had the opportunity to hang out with some amazing fellow photographers in Phoenix. We got together to do head shots for each other, but it turned into a hilarious day of making new friends.
Thank you ladies for an amazing day! I can’t wait to get together again.
You may remember Mark and Haerina from their Sedona, Arizona proposal, but you did not get to meet Mark’s parents Myung and Grace. When asked to shoot their 40th wedding anniversary and Myung’s 70th birthday, I was elated. In the short amount of time I had already spent with this family, I knew there was so much I could learn from them.
Myung and Grace have lived in some amazing places and traveled the world together. Their love for each other and their family is a beautiful thing to watch. They have a great deal of respect for each other which is so refreshing.
The entire family had surprises for each other throughout the night. First starting with Myung giving a beautiful speech for his wife. Her expression was adorable! The next surprise was Mark and his brother Nick performing a duet on the violin and cello for their parents.
Although the entire event was spoken and sang in Korean, I learned a lot and I am so honored to have been able to spend a little more time with this amazing family.

I am so excited to introduce you all to Jamesa, my most recent Mingus Union High School senior! I have known this girl since she was 7 years old. It has been amazing seeing her grow up into this gorgeous young woman!
Her passion is art, specifically painting. Hopefully one day I will be able to say “I know that girl!” when I see her work in an art gallery. Keep an eye out for this one, because I know she is going to be doing amazing things!
I was so excited when I got a call about a surprise proposal happening in Sedona back in February. You can tell by her expressions that she was not expecting the ring, let alone when their parents walked around the corner! Not only was this a special day for the proposal, it was also Mark’s birthday! (BTW-Birthdays make a great cover story for any special event!)
Yes, it is 2:30 am on my birthday and instead of sleeping, I am excited to announce the winners of the birthday family session giveaway!!

I have known Jon since the Third Grade when we attended DDB Elementary School in Cottonwood, AZ. We went even graduated high school together. Paige also went to high school with us. I have watched their relationship grow over the years and I was so honored when they contacted me about shooting their up coming June wedding! We had SO much fun in Sedona in Uptown at the Tlaquepaque Resort in Sedona as well as the Rainbow Trout Farm in the lower Oak Creek Canyon. I cannot wait to share with you all their wedding in June at the Shenandoah Mill in Gilbert!
Shelby and I met about halfway through a semester long general psychology class about a year and a half ago. We both were standoffish of each other until one day we ended up sitting next to each other in the back of the class. The simple action of passing on an assignment quickly turned into an amazing friendship. I wouldn’t trade my friendship with this girl for the world! She is gorgeous inside and out, as well as one of the sweetest and funniest people you will ever meet.
About a month ago I had the amazing privilege to second shoot a wedding with Kristin of KLP Photography. Shooting with a good friend is always a bonus, but I have always wanted to shoot a military wedding. Chris and Jeannie had such an amazing bridal party who really knew how to have fun at a wedding!
